If Yanks down by 2 or more and there are runners on, pinch-hit Huff for Podsednik (vs. RHP) and Pena for Podsednik (v.
LHP); pinch-hit Johnson for Navarro if
Yanks are down less than 4 runs in the 8th.
Pinch-run a F runner for a S runner late in the game if the run is crucial.
Only sacrifice with Podsednik or Navarro in a close game (0 out).
Hit and run with Podesdnik on first and Johnson up. Don’t overuse.

If Yanks are up in 8th use the following: C – Navarro, 1B – Johnson, 2B – R, Martinez, 3B –
